What you’ll need to put this one together:
5. optional piece: Black leather bag
First Impression:
This guy conveys a perfect mix of attitude and class.
Breakdown:
I absolutely love this look. It’s a prime example of how anyone can pull off a look with attitude while keeping it incredibly classy.
You’re probably not wearing this one to work, but it’s a perfect one for that weekend date.
One element that makes this look so attractive is how well everything fits. From head to toe, every part of this outfit looks tailor fit, making him look incredibly sharp.
The heavy scarf is fearlessly stylish. I love over-sized scarves like this because it has an almost exaggerated extravagance to it. Whenever I see someone wearing a scarf like this, I automatically assume that they’re incredibly confident.
The double breasted coat looks like a sweater (and a sweater should work here as well). It has the structure of a blazer or pea coat, but seems to have the comfort and fit of a sweater.
As for the bag, it adds that fashionable, “I’m busy making moves” touch. A classic messenger bag or duffel bag should also work here.

Hey Jae - Thanks for all the inspirational info!
I’ve noticed that most of your examples tend to be for the typical ‘model’ look - sort of long and thin guys.
I have a feeling that if I tried the look above, it would probably just accentuate the fact that I’m short and wide..
Any tips for stockier body types?
I like this look a lot. When I first saw it, I couldn’t help but notice something you commented on. The utilization of a large scarf creates a daring look and requires a certain degree of confidence. I’m curious as to how a man’s build affects any potential look he may choose to use? Can any man wear any look?
This look is awesome! this fitment… i love it!
You could vary this look easily. Just wear the pants and shoes with a slimfit shirt (extra wide spread contrast-collar) + black cotton tie and a simple black cardigan over it.

Nice look. I love the jacket, but the link won’t work.
Maybe it is because I’m in Japan…
I’d really appreciate if you made a Lookbook on this look:

Yeah finaly another look!
Keep up the good work.
I like this look too. It’s a nice winter look. But the pants, to me, are too tight! But it’s a perfect fit for the model. Gotta give the package some breathing room !
love this look i actually have a sweater like this and was wondering what i should where it wiith
Nice look but I would say the flannel trousers are cut way too tight and over long for a tall-ish lean person, it makes the tall and lanky person look even taller and lankier - perhaps turn-ups/cuffs would have the effect of counterbalancing his height in this example. And for the love of god take your hands out of your pockets
At first, it took awhile for the white foreground to load, and I was viewing the blog with a black background and I thought you guys had done that specially for this lookbook just to go along with the dark colors in the outfit
this is a really good look, i really like it, looks classy, yet confident.
it’s perfect for night out and hanging out somewhere. really cool guys, thanks.
looks kind of stylish really, awesome.
Thanks Jae,
I love the whole look but is it possible you could have some examples and perhaps links where the price ranges are a little more affordable?
