Jon, a collared shirt underneath would take care of the problem easily. If you wear a t-shirt underneath, you can wear a jacket with a high collar like this:

Quick question regarding the cardigan… I’m about 6′5”, pretty skinny, and I have a very long neck. I’ve heard it’s poor fashion for someone like me to wear tops with low collars necks because it elongates my neck. Think a cardigan would be a fashion mistake, or would a collared shirt underneath take care of the problem?

Hey PartyInMyShower,

I felt the same way when I tried on a cardigan in a shop for the first time and thought yuck. But then I warmed to it, and tried on one which was a bit stylish. Now I love them. I’m skinny and I realise it looks better on me layered with a good collared shirt. I’m starting to integrate it into my style, but believe me, is very stylish piece of attire if you can get it right for yourself

This is a good lineup. Scarves are great accessories and down vest is classic. The tie outside of work is going to be something I will work on but that will require me to go out and get some ties…

i’m definitely trying some of these looks. the turtleneck under the jacket is something i’ve done before. the boots look awesome with that outfit. definitely requires balls to pull off though.
